After careful consideration we have, unfortunately, decided to cancel our summer camp program this year. Due to insufficient initial interest, we do not have the minimum number of registrations necessary to organize a robust program. We have also carefully looked at the trends regarding summer plans amongst our community. The current easing of measures has prompted many families to explore travel opportunities during the summer.
Our summer camp has been loved by many students over the years and is a key part of the AISB calendar. We hope to be back next summer in full swing.
Thank you for your understanding.
This program is open to all 9-year-olds through 14-year-olds who would like to improve their English skills!

MORE INFORMATION
The AISB English Language Camp is a three-week program. Students are required to attend all three weeks. We build skills step by step, which is why participation in all three weeks is critical. The English Language Camp is based on the methods we use at AISB to help our students acquire English.
The morning is devoted to active, dynamic English instruction. The afternoon is dedicated to using English for all communication in sports, games, and art. The schedule could also be the other way around i.e. with instruction in the afternoon and sports, games and activities in the morning. Activities include arts, crafts, ball games and sports, board games, swimming, outdoor games and much more.
Our teachers are multilingual and use modern approaches to teaching. These approaches enable students to learn and function in an English-language environment. Students speak, read, write and listen to English. The instruction is designed to enhance all of these abilities.
Students use technology to enhance their learning. Students may make presentations, engage in debates, create slideshows and use technology to support their understanding and language.
The afternoon puts English into action. After a delicious lunch, students join in the afternoon activities of our summer camp program. All of our activities are run by teachers, AISB teacher assistants and university students or students in the last year of high school. The great majority of our staff works at AISB or have studied there. Our school has a special spirit, which we pass on. Participation in sports, games, swimming, and art is not only fun, but also helps develop a child’s language, social ability, and brain development.
The English Language Camp gives EAL students extra help in developing their academic English. The program is also an excellent introduction to the school for EAL students new to AISB. Finally, this course can help any student who wants to further develop academic English language skills. English is now the most important language in the world for science, technology, academics, travel and business. The AISB English Language Camp helps to make students stronger and more confident in their English. For beginners, this is an exciting, fun introduction to the English with lots of chances to use the language every day.
We will supply all books and materials necessary for the course. Students are required to bring a laptop or tablet. Technology is an important part of the program.
